Get A Firm Grip On Your Club With
Your Golf Gloves!
For women who love to golf, good golf gloves are the perfect solution, not only to protect your hands and prevent sweaty palms and blisters but their
real purpose is to give you a more consistent grip, whether your hands are warm or cold or a little moist.
At some stage, we have all “shanked” or “sliced” the ball …. thanks to our golf club slipping from a loose grip …. so a ladies golf glove is a great asset to your game and if your golf club has a worn-out grip, a golf glove will give you a good hold where there is none. Stranger still is you only need ONE glove for the hand that rests at the top of the shaft!
Like all professional golfers, you wear your glove whilst hitting your ball until you reach the green …. and then remove it for putting.
There are many styles available offering different types of grips depending on how you hold your club when you swing. Some gloves offer a tighter grip, whilst others adjust under different temperatures. Also look for golf gloves in various print and durable materials such as leather. If you’re left-handed, then you’ll need left handed gloves.
Click here to choose your golf glove from a vast selection of very reasonably priced stock where you could save up to 60% on discount gloves. You will also support breast cancer research when you purchase your gloves from here.
The variety in designs and colors, along with a variety in textures makes ladies golf gloves equally as attractive and fashionable as any other golf accessory worn to play golf with the fashion conscious golfer matching her glove’s color with her golfing outfit.
When “fitting” your glove …. it should be tight when you put it on … very much tighter than an ordinary glove. When it is put on for the first time, it should feel as tight as possible without straining the glove’s seams. A really good golf glove is made of very thin leather or simulated leather, so treat it gently and ease your fingers down into it one at a time. After the first couple of minutes wear, it should mold well to your hand just like an extra layer of skin, giving you a firm grip on your golf clubs but without any loss of feeling in your hand or fingers.
In winter, try to avoid wearing two gloves; as with two gloves, you will likely change the whole character of your grip and consequently your pattern of shots. So instead, if the weather is cold, carry a thick pair of warm mittens or winter golf gloves, putting them on between shots over your golf glove.
Today, besides the standard fitting glove, you can buy ….
water-resistant golf gloves to maintain your grip even in the rain.
half-finger gloves that cover only the palm and fingers of your hand.
nail gloves that keep your hand and fingers covered, but the tips are open so your nails have more room.
ring gloves that have an opening on your ring finger, so there is no need to remove your ring and risk losing it.
impact protection gloves, which absorb the impact when hitting the ball …. so your hands feel less pain; and
golf gloves that don’t block out the sun, allowing your hands to tan as evenly as your arms!

Gloves from top brand names such as Footjoy gloves, Callaway golf gloves, Taylormade gloves, Cabretta gloves, Bionic gloves, Titleist gloves and the Nicole Miller collection cater for left and right-handed players and even cater for those women who need to fit long fingernails, rings or other jewelry into a tight-fitting glove!
Golf gloves make useful gifts and prizes.
