Teeing it up with the tee marker between you and your golf ball, is perfectly legal – as long as you’re not playing your golf shot from in front of the tee markers. This allows you to use the full width of the tee box which is important when you want to broaden your “aiming area”.
This tactic allows you to aim away from trouble.
